Although this is a "beachy wedding" we would request our guests to wear formal attire. This does not require wearing tuxedos or long cocktail dresses; however we would like our guests to wear something appropriate for the special occasion.

In Spain, people celebrate weddings as an excuse to super dress up, and though we are lowering their expectations about American weddings, we would request no sportive outwear. 

 

We are aware this will take place in the middle of the summer season, in North Carolina, and by the beach, so it will be terrific hot, so something dressy but fresh would definitely be our choice!

Aunque nuestra boda se celebra cerca del mar, querríamos pedir a nuestros invitados que vayan vestidos de manera formal. Esto no quiere decir que se ha de llevar puesto smokings o vestidos largos de noche, sin embargo sí que pediríamos a nuestros invitados que fueran vestidos acorde con la ocasión especial que se celebra.

 

En España, la gente se arregla y se viste por todo lo alto para la celebración de una boda, pero en Estados Unidos este no suele ser el caso, y la gente tiende a ir vestida de manera más informal. Lo único que pediríamos es que no se utilice ropa deportiva.

Puesto que sabemos que al tener lugar a finales de julio, en medio del verano, en Carolina del Norte, y en la costa, el clima será asquerosamente cálido, así que nuestra sugerencia sería alguna prenda de vestir, formal, pero fresquita.
