Wilmington Airport is 45 minutes away from Southport. Depending on your time of arrival there might or might not be someone able to pick you up. If there is a little group of you flying into ILM, another option would be getting a rental car. If you need our help, just let us know!

 

El aeropuerto de Wilmington está a 45 minutos de Southport. Dependiendo de la hora a la que lleguéis, puede que haya alguien que pueda recogeros. Si sois un grupito los que tenéis pensado volar hasta ILM otra opción podría ser alquilar entre todos un coche. ¡Si necesitáis que os ayudemos a organizaros decídnoslo! 

Myrtle Beach Airport is a little less than 1.5 hrs away from Southport; but 50 minutes from Sunset Beach (read After Party information). Depending on your arrival day we might be able to pick you up. But if you come Friday 24th, you'll need your own transportation to Southport, since we will be there already. 

El aeropuerto de Myrtle Beach está a menos de hora y media de Southport, pero a 50 minutos de Sunset Beach (véase información de After Party). Depende del día que lleguéis puede haber alguien que os recoja. Pero si llegáis el viernes 24 deberéis buscar vuestro propio transporte porque nosotros ya estaremos en Southport ese día.

Raleigh-Durham International Airport is the busiest airport, with more international flights and, if we had to guess, the cheapest option as well. It is less than 3 hours away from Sourthport, and because of that we cannot help you with transportation. As said before, if you are a group you might want to look into sharing a rental car or van. If you would like to do this, but you are not coming with a group of people, let us know and we will help you by asking other guests to make a group.

 

El aeropuerto internacional de Raleigh-Durham es el que vuela con más compañías, el que tiene más vuelos internacionales y, si tuvieramos que adivinar, el que proporciona vuelos más baratos. Está a poco menos de 3 horas de Southport, y por esta razón no podemos ayudaros con el transporte. Como dijimos antes, si sois un grupo la mejor opción sería coger un coche o una furgoneta de alquiler. Si quisieras hacer esto, pero vas a viajar solo/a, dínoslo y te ayudaremos a preguntar a otros invitados por si quieren formar un grupo contigo.

Most of you are coming from different locations, so here are our main suggestions according to the type of transportation you are planning on taking. // La mayoría de vosotros vais a llegar desde lugares diferentes. Por esta razón hemos hecho esta lista de sugerencias dependiendo del tipo de transporte que vayais a tomar.

 

By car: Use the easiest route your GPS offers you. Just remember, the beach is a tourist location during the summer so there might be traffic jam as you get closer to Southport. Try to leave a little earlier than you usually would, and if you get there too soon you can always check out cute little stores! // En coche: Usad la ruta más fácil que os proponga el GPS. Recordad que la playa es un sitio turístico durante el verano y lo más probable es que cuanto más cerca del agua estéis más carabana haya en la carretera. Intentad salir un poco antes de la hora pensada, y si llegaseis antes a Southport siempre podéis pasar el rato viendo las tiendecitas monas que tienen.

Money and time are the main issues here so read this information carefully and choose whichever option seems more reasonable to you. // Por avión: Hay varios aeropuertos a los que podéis volar. El dinero y el tiempo son los mayores factores así que leed tranquilamente la siguiente información y escoged la opción que os parezca más razonable.
