¡Jelouuuu!

 

La mayoría ya me conocéis y por lo tanto esta sección puede ser innecesaria, así que para hacerlo más entretenido voy a contaros 10 cosas sobre mí que a lo mejor os sorpenden.

 

Most of you already know me so this section might seem unnecessary, so to keep it interesting I'll tell you 10 things about me that might surprise you!

 

  • Soy adicta al queso. I'm addicted to cheese.

  • Me gusta hablar inglés en España y pretender que no entiendo español. I like speaking in English when I'm in Spain and pretend I don't understand Spanish.

  • Puedo cantar opera.. la versión del hombre, por supuesto. I can sing opera... but in the man's version, of course.

  • También se hacer una voz muy rara que sólo algunos han tenido el honor de escuchar. I can also make some weird voice that only some of you have had the honor to hear it.

  • No me gusta el vino blanco, ni el rosado sólo el Lambrusco. I don't like white nor rosé wine --only Lambrusco.

  • Soy de Valencia y no me gustan los mariscos, pero cualquier cosa de fritanga me la como. I'm from Valencia and I don't like seafood, but I'll eat anything fried.

  • Nathan hace mejor paellas que yo - en realidad, él cocina todo mejor que yo. Soy un desastre. Nate's paellas are better than mine - actually, everything he cooks is better than mine. I'm a kitchen-mess.

  • Uno de mis sueños es abrir mi propio negocio - boutique de moda y accesorios café para que los hombres esperen a las mujeres relajándose. One of my dreams is to open my own business - a clothes and accessories boutique with a coffee spot for men to sit down and wait for their women.

  • Tengo TERROR a los bichos - cucarachas, hormigas, arañas, mosquitos, etc. y siempre necesito que alguien los mate por mí! I'm terrified of bugs - cockroaches, ants, spiders, mosquitos, etc. And I always need someone to kill it for me!

  • Tengo 26 años, casi 27, estudié filología inglesa, ahora estudio un doble master en traducción y en español, y todavía no tengo NI idea de lo que quiero hacer con mi vida. - ¡Eso sí que me da miedo! I'm 26 (almost 27) I studied English, I'm doing a double master's degree in Spanish language and translation, and I have NO idea what I want to do with my life. Now, that is terrifying!

¡El turno de Nathan! Lo que le gusta a él sobre mi

(Nathan's turn! Here are couple things he likes about me)

 

  • I love the way she reacts every single time we pass a dead animal on the interstate (a very common occurrence in the USA). It's as if it's the first time, every time. Me encanta la manera en que reacciona cada vez que vemos un animal muerto en la carretera (algo muy común en los EEUU). Es como si fuera la primera vez que lo ve, cada vez.

  • I love watching her calculate mathematical equations like 50% of 100 or 25x8. It takes her a while but she gets there. Me encanta verla calcular ecuaciones matemáticas, como el 50% de 100 o 25x8. Tarda un rato, pero al final lo consigue.

  • Many of you know, some of you don't, but at some point or another (if you're american and speak spanish) Barbara has made fun of your spanish accent - and it is hilarious! Her ability to make me laugh daily is why I can't let her go! Muchos de vosotros lo sabéis, y algunos no, pero en algún momento (si eres americano y hablas español) Barbara se ha burlado de tu acento en español -y es muy gracioso! Su habilidad de hacerme reir cada día es la razón por la que me quiero casar con ella.

  • Barbara's unique beauty and elegant style has always been one of her most endearing attributes. I love how she still doesn't completely realize how truly beautiful she is. La belleza unica de Barbara y su estilo elegante es siempre uno de sus atributos más adorables. Me encanta como todavía no se ha dado cuenta completamente de lo preciosa que es.

  • I love Barbara because she's a strong, responsible, open minded and highly motivated mujer with an enormous capacity to love and be loved. Amo a Barbara porque es una mujer fuerte, responsable, abierta, y extremadamente motivada con una capacidad enorme de amar y ser amada.

  • I love her for her awful taste in music and the hope that I can change that. Â¡La amo por su horrible gusto en música y la esperanza de poder cambiarlo!

  • Lastly, she shows me how much she loves me EVERY day! Finalmente, ¡la amo porque me demuestra cuánto me quiere TODOS los días!
