After going back and forth, Nathan and Barbara have decided to have their Big Day in the beautiful state of North Carolina, in the United States. Though we have nothing against Spain, we found it easier and in a way more sentimental to have the wedding where it all began!
Please, family and friends from the other side of the ocean, forgive us for making you cross the pond, but we promise we will make it unforgettable for you, and with your presence you will help make it unforgettable for us!
Ceremony & Reception
Southport Community Building Deck
The ceremony and the reception will be held in the same location. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place on the historic Southport Community Building deck, which overlooks the scenic Intracoastal Waterway.
Inside of the Southport Community Building
The reception will take place just steps away in the main hall of the Southport Community Building. You might recognise this building from appearances in multiple Hollywood films.
Most recently, it appeared in Nicholas Spark's film "Safe Haven" (go to the very end of the movie (at 1:31), where they are celebrating the fourth of July and you'll see the place filled with lights everywhere!)
